Wrist health does not end at the wrists but is often an expression of compressed structures along the arms and shoulder-neck area. Known as the TOS (Thoracic-Outlet-Syndrom) neural structure can be compressed along their path into the arm, potentially causing syndrome in the arm, wrist or hand. That is why posture matters even more when practicing a movement form were we weight bear on the upper body. Looking at wrist issues complimentary, including the structures attached to the writs may often be the solution.
